We are a Connecticut non-profit dedicated to the rescue, care, rehabilitation and release of wildlife.
Our organization provides compassionate, licensed rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife with special focus on squirrels and opossums.
Our mission is to give vulnerable small mammals a second chance at life in the wild.
About Us
CFR Wildlife Rehab is a home-based animal rescue licensed by the state of Connecticut. It was founded in 2025 by a mother-daughter duo with a lifelong dedication to animal welfare.
We are volunteers dedicating our time, space and resources to vulnerable wildlife. We receive no state or federal funding. We depend on private donations to support our mission.
Our name honors three individuals who shared the initials CFR, and who each left a legacy of kindness and service to all natural creatures.
